Is this not the most adorable hat, EVER? Can you imagine how excited I was as I unwrapped this present that my friend, Carol, so sweetly sent to me? I couldn't stop smiling! Oh, this vintage daisy hat is TOO cute! Can you just picture the pretty lady that wore this? Was this her special summer hat? I wish you could see it in person. Thank you Carol for your wonderful blog support and kindness! This was SO nice of you to think of me - you know that I am going to treasure this .... ALWAYS!
Oh my gosh! Look at that, with the veil & all. What a perfect thing for your Daisy Cottage.

Well, picture me Kim! I had a pillbox style floral hat, lo those many years ago. It wasn't exactly like yours, but close!! It was white. I wore it with a navy dress, one Easter, in the mid 60's! Now I am close to my mid 60's! Where did the time go!!
Cute hat and of course, perfect for Daisy Cottage!:-)

Jan xx -- just enjoying a bowl of homemade chicken soup at Rosemary Cottage. Thinking about baking up an Irish soda bread to join it for tonight's supper! :)

Looks like my post didn't go through but I'm going to try the third time.
I've been looking all over the place for old hats like that. How very sweet of Carol.
But like Charlotte, I want to take them apart! So it's good that the sweet daisy one found you instead of us, for now. :)

Awesome hat.....just perfect for Daisy Cottage...it makes me think of my great Aunt Lil...she always got a new hat for Easter. I remember as a little girl my Mother taking her shopping... she would try on every hat in the store. What a great time we had.
Thanks for the memory...can't wait to see where the hat ends up !!!
