Today was Post Office day and we all know what that means! ;-) I run across the street after picking up my mail to see if anything new and irresistable can be found at the Goodwill. And I was in luck! I adore visiting here whenever I am shopping in Tampa or Orlando. (pssst ~ did you just see that? some very nice friends helped me to finally learn how to hyperlink! bless you!) I just love Anthropologie's displays and wonderful goods. But they ARE pricey and I think I've only splurged on a few things there. So when I saw this cute blouse hanging on the rack in Goodwill with its' original tags and appearing to be brand new and never worn, I grabbed it. I think it is worth the $3.75, don't you? And now I also must confess, I think a purse collection is about to happen. This needlepoint oldie but goodie was in a heap of black purses in the store. After falling in love with my red one, I'm keeping an eye out for other older, quirky ones to either carry, because I guess I am going to be old and quirky, OR to use as my sister suggested, in my office. They can hold fabric, special notes and cards, lots of things! I thought that was brilliant! I think I'll keep her around! ;-)
I love the Goodwill also. I went there yesterday and found some cute stuff for my house. Love the print on the blouse.

Love the purse...you can always collect and display purses but then grab one to use if it suits! I found your blog recently and just love it. We live in a small '40's cottage that we love.

Great purse! The Goodwill near us isn't that great! There used to be a wonderful Salvation Army, but it has closed.

We lived in Tampa (Well, Brandon actually) for 3 years. Such fun!
Stay well...

Ohhhhhhhh, I love the purse! I think a purse collection is a terrific idea! Would you believe, I still have an Easter purse that my mother gave me when I was about 6 years old. It's an antique by now! LOL! What does that say about me? And the blouse, very pretty --- great shopping trip to Goodwill! I usually get lost in the book and china sections there. I'll have to start checking out the clothing line.

Yes, I think you are well on your way to a purse collection in deed. In the past, I've found it hard to pass up a deal on vintage purses. But it's okay....it's like the saying goes, "A girl can never have too many purses." I'm sure we'll be reading about your next purse find in the very near future. Good luck :)

I am such a Goodwill fan myself!! Just bought a brand new leather stool there myself a couple weeks ago..lol :-0 Great finds!

What finds!
Anthropologie is so much fun isn't it? You just have to make time at the mall to go inside and meander around the squeaky floors discovering all the goods. Are you keeping the shirt or is your DD wearing it already?
Yes, you do have such a good eye for the bargains!!

what a steal.....I went thrifting today and thought of you when I saw the cutest little white cupboard...I wanted to get it, but couldn't think of where I would put it....so, alas, I left it in the shop......:(

Hi Kim, what some lucky finds! I have a small-ish(!) collection of needlepoint bags - some of them may find their way into the shop soon though!

OOOOH la la love that blouse and THAT PRICE! Funny I was at our local thrift yesterday 'dreaming' of finding such a blouse as yours, but no luck for me:( so happy for you! The last time I was near an anthropology display in a uppity store in Minneapolis I must have touched everything I saw with their label on it half a dozen times, should I? Or shouldn't I?....but OY OUCH! talk about pricey..so finding it at thrifted prices ya have to buy!

I love your purse, all you need now is one more...three is a collections! Tina

Kim, I LOVE your finds! The purse is gorgeous (I LOVE needlepoint!). And the blouse is fantastic. I LOVE thrift shopping for clothes. I got a 100% cashmere sweater last week for $6, lol! And I know I've told this story a thousand times, but I got my VERA WANG bridal shower dress at Sally's WITH the tags on it for $8. You can IMAGINE how excited I was that day! Happy thriftin'!
