My daughter mentioned to me the other day that her favorite dessert in the world was banana pudding. This was somewhat newsworthy to me as I did not know this after almost 18 years of being her mother! With this new discovery in my head, I went to the grocery store and got some bananas and vanilla wafers. I had the rest of the ingredients already. It just came out of the oven. I hope it turned out okay. Can you believe that this is my first time EVER to make banana pudding?? Yes one of my many little New Year's resolutions was to spend more time in the kitchen. ;-)
Well If I run by will you share?
It looks awfully delicious. My aunt used to make them for us.

A colorful checked towel, a humble wooden spoon and banana pudding fresh from the oven - everything about this photo says "comfort and love"! When food is prepared with love, the love becomes one of the ingredients and makes the food all the tastier for it. I'll bet this is absolutely delicious because you listened to your daughter, then made an effort to do what you felt would bring a smile to her heart. Bless you, Kim!

Okay, here's the thing. Yesterday I made french toast because of you. This morning I spent 40 minutes on the treadmill. I REFUSE to make the banana pudding! I hope you and your daughter enjoyed it though. Jen

Another magazine worthy photo! Gosh, Kim, you do have the touch.
And I know what you mean about favorite desserts. I made rice pudding last week. How good is that? Yum!

Your banana pudding looks wonderful, one of my new years resolutions was to do more baking too. I have been making homemade w.w. bread since the new year began. This weekend I also made cookies for church and muffins for my sweet dh. There is nothing like the smell of homemade baked goods in the air. Cindy S.
