Well of course this silly daisy lamp from Goodwill had to come home with me to Daisy Cottage! I just couldn't resist it. It does give off a pretty yellow glow in the kitchen. My hubby and son are away on a father and son fishing trip. My daughter and I thought about going out and grabbing a quick bite for dinner, but we decided on having pasta at home. I'm glad that we did. It has been really nice, having this "girl" time ... funny how the house is so much calmer without the men. We enjoyed our dinner by Daisy Light.
Oh Kim, you find the best things. What incredible secondhand shops you have! And daisies... I think that lamp is perfect. Isn't that what a cottage is for? Decorating and adorning it? I'm glad you make the most of it. I hope you and your daughter enjoyed your pasta. Kim.

Love the lamp Kim! This lamp of yours gives me an idea for a lamp I just got in the mail today, I won it on ebay, it is the cutiest cottage white lamp, but it is without a shade...I think I can buy a plain white shade at Hobby Lobby, and "dress it up" with flowers! Ok, now I'm excited! Tomorrow, I'm off to Hobby Lobby! When I am finished with it my daughter and I will have a pasta dinner together by the light of my "flower lamp"....Thanks Kim, Tina

Hi Kim! I can not think of a better home for that sweet lamp! It was kismet! I cherish those alone moments with my child. Today my son went shopping with me...and we went to an old fashion icecream fountain and shared a ice cream vanilla soda....simple moments like that are the best! Love your rooster basking in the daisy light. cherry

Yes! My house is always quieter and calmer with the boys gone. Funny, even when they aren't making noise they are making energy. Love the lamp!

Absolutely delightful bit of wit and lighthearted joy, your daisy lamp for Daisy Cottage! How nice to enjoy a happy pasta dinner with your daughter. I love the alone time I get with my daughter when her husband's working late and I'm at her home visiting and enjoying my granddaughters. The best things in life, indeed.
