It's rainy and dreary out today. I was hoping that it was a cold front but I don't think it is. While catching up on the computer I glanced at the wall to my right and realized that I hadn't shared a picture of my newest "landscape" addition. I collect various paintings of landscapes from thrift shops and yard sales. This painting of a stone house is now my favorite- that is until the next one comes along and I fall in love with it!
They all look beautiful together and the house is especially beautiful. You really inspired me on Saturday night and I finally moved a big eyesore of furniture out of my living/family room and replaced with a number of tables and things from around the house. Every time I walk by, it makes me smile and makes me think of your blog.

Hi! Your collection of paintings are lovely. I collect paintings and have lots of flowers (mainly roses!) grouped together around the house. I never tire of looking at them. Clare x

It's good to finally have time to visit your lovely blog again (you have posted so many times since I last visited and I love all the color in your home). I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. You sure know how to put things together so "the whole" enhances all the pieces!

Love your "newest" stone house picture. It is truly beautiful. I have an old English cottage style one that I found in Michigan long time ago. Makes me smile too. There is something about old houses that warms the heart. As always, your photo skills are awesome.

Kim, i feel like such a bad cyber/lakeland friend - i had no idea your daughter was involved in an accident. I'm glad to see she's doing great - my heart goes out to you from one mom to another - it must have scared you to pieces! Take care - left you a comment on the board too!!

I love seeing the way you have your collection arranged. I am so bad at displaying the things that I love in an eye pleasing way. These blogs are really teaching me some wonderful skills. Thank you for sharing.

I just adore your home so. What a beautiful arrangement and wall color. You are such a talent.
It uis dreary and drizzly here as well...still unseasonably warm but the cold is on it's way. Brrrr....I love it though!
Take care...thank you for sharing your special and lovely spot in the world.
Fondly,
Sue

Kim, I am so excited...right next to my computer in my black and red and black and white checked condo is a lamp just like yours! Mine has a red shade on it and the switch broke and I haven't had it fixed yet. Must do that soon. Your pictures are awesome! Vicky

I love landscapes too! I have a series in my kitchen. All you creative women out there inspire me. I have recently started my own home blog so I'll have to post my landscapes on there too. Hope you can check it out sometime.

I love your painting collection - in fact, I wish I lived in that stone cottage somewhere right by a sea like the one in your other painting hanging on the wall...I'm also working on a collection of landscapes - unfortunately mine are stacked up in the basement...maybe someday they'll make it onto a wall! 'Nice "meeting you" (thanks for your wonderful comments!)- your blog is a delightful discovery and I'll definitely be checking in!

Lovely, lovely painting, Kim! My ex-FIL was a painter and teacher of some renown and I fell in love with painting in oils. I could sit and quietly enjoy your painting for hours. It speaks volumes of emotion, ever so quietly.

Wonderful collection Kim as usual beautifully put together and photographed. Were you a magazine stylist in another incarnation?

Your mantle piece decoration looks already really festive Kim and I like your wooden wardrobe decorated with the leather suitcases and your collection of sticks (not sure if this is what you call them in English)!
