Two posts in one day! Well, this has been a very productive Saturday. I've dusted and swept up Marley's gigantic hair balls along with doing too many loads of laundry for my bad back. I cleaned bathrooms from top to bottom and even cleaned out the fridge which I hate to do! I'm winding down now, but wanted to share this picture of a little corner that I redid a few hours ago. Our bedroom is oh so tiny - the tiniest bedroom that we have ever had, but it is a "cozy-tiny" and our bed fits perfectly underneath the windows so that is all that matters. I paired this red chair with a creamy nightstand that I scored from Goodwill for a few dollars. My friend, Des, sent me the pillow which I love! Yes, the corner could have remained empty and that might have helped with making our room feel a little bit more spacious, but I think it is "complete" now. I'm liking the pop of red in this spot too. Besides, it is very very hard for me to leave any corner alone! ;-)
Gosh you have been busy, you put me to sahme Kim!
Now you need to sit down in that chair, rest your bad back and re-read some of those old friends!

A perfect place to read those perfect books (one summer I dubbed my "Anne of Green Gables Summer" and read every book in the series - it was a marvelous summer).
I used to shy away from reds as being too bold - but now I use them all over the house and they bring such warmth and joy to the place.

Hi Kim,
Your use of red also makes me happy inside and brings a smile to my face. Your corner warms my heart.

Kim,
I love your corner. You know, this house is so different from your last and I have loved them both. I'd be hard pressed to choose which style I prefer.
