So many obsessions!! What is a girl to do? Don't you just love these little Italian gold boxes and the cute shabby English tin? I do! I hope to find more along the way. These sweet vintage baubles and floral pins are growing in number as I am collecting them from yard sales. I just can't resist them. Neither can my seventeen year old daughter as she loves to help herself and wears them with her outfits! Not only will I wear these pretties too, but I can see repurposing them as accents to "dress" our dining room table, decorate our chandeliers, or simply use them to jazz up some boring lampshades! Fun, fun!
How pretty! I've never seen anything like those boxes. They are really lovely. I went to my favorite antique mall today and I was thinking how much fun it would have been to take you there. You would have been in heaven!

I managed to pick up a tin today which I am planning on posting later. Although I am rather pleased with my find I am soo jealous of your goodies(I can't resist vintage jewels either) and the wonderful way you photograph them.

you create the most beautiful pictures of your collections. One of those boxes reminds me very much of a box my grandmother made - carved and painted herself. Same colors and even some of the same pattern I think. I'll have to go find it and drape it with pearls now :)

Ooh I love the tin. I have one that’s in a beautiful blue with flowers covering it. I too collect old jewelry and decorate my home. On occasion I’ll wear some as well as my thirteen year old daughter.

Kim,
As always - perfection. The colors of the pieces makes this small arrangement beautiful. You have such a knack for combining textures and colors. I also collect tins and vintage jewelry. I've also begun collecting vintage postcards (especially of Florida) and aprons. Love the colors.
