My world may be very small as it is lived between my beloved home and beloved lake and sometimes lived a little beyond as I am able to wander and roam.
But my world has the sweetest light and the sweetest life....
And my world is so my HOME.
My world knows of so much life that I so much treasure.
Life that has been......
Of me.
Beside me.
And beyond me.
I have been so very very blessed.
☺
And speaking of life......
Shannon and Austin are happily anticipating the arrival of their precious baby ......
Due on October 1st.
I will be a grandmother. For the very first time.
♥
and.....
Shawn is being deployed to bravely serve his country in Afghanistan .....
Departing on October 1st.
He will be gone for one year.
Yes, you know me. You know what I am feeling.
You know my heart.
Love makes my our very small big world go 'round.....
Indeed.
♥

A Grandmama...What a burst of excitement must be in your heart anticipating ALL the fun and the newness of life ALL over again, but this time not so much labor and work. ;-)
Happy in my heart for you...and I can also say Heavy in my heart for you...My Marine is deploying in March. He served in Afghanistan in 2010, in the Mediterranean in 2011, and now will be out on a warship. Don't know where and for how long...will have to wait on that information. We are getting him for one week very very soon, before he leaves...I Love My Marine...It is SO SO hard to be a waiting family...and a waiting mama. God is with them. Their childhood guardian angels are still at beck and call...and their brothers have their backs. Will be praying for your son, Kim...I know how you feel. {hug} xo

Hi Kim.....glad you will have that baby to focus on during the year while your son is gone..congratulations........All I can say in comfort is that it hits the ones waiting harder than the guys or gals over there....they have each other and a bond that unless we were in their place, would not understand...and they know what's going on in any given moment...It's hard for a mom to not be able to protect her little boy anymore......and they will ALWAYS be our little boys......I still think of my son being out in the desert for days at a time with no way to shower, mostly every time i take a shower.......as life has it....i think he forgot all that...lol Both you and your family will be in our prayers....hugs....carol
