I cleaned yesterday, and had to step over Maggie again and again as she relentlessly tried to divert my attention so that I would pick her up ...
Silly girl.
It is always a wonderful feeling when your house is clean, don't you think? And, of course, as I clean, I enjoy my things as I go along ...
I even enjoy the unfinished Granny Room - though, as you can see, I haven't found another sofa - yet.
My fabulously fun friend, Yvonne, generously gave me a painting that I have always admired in her home and I love having it in my kitchen now!
I painted the gold frame yellow last weekend - hmmm..... I hope she doesn't mind!!
;-)
And thanks to my beautiful friend, Lori, my dining room mirror collection is growing! She found several fabulous ones for me!!
And my very special mommy-to-be friend, Lisa, found this cutie-patootie rooster for me too ...
I hope to take you on a little tour of Yvonne and Lisa and Lori's homes one day SOON. You will LOVE their homes as much as I do!
So eventually Maggie gave up ...
And I was able to finish my chores without TOO much doxie-guilt ...
And everything is now nice and clean.
And, as always, that IS a good thing.
I hope you have a gorgeous weekend - even if you have to step over your loved ones too.
;-)
