Kim, you and your blog are the bright spot in my day each morning! You have no idea the inspiration you give me - to put some oomph doing housework, look at my old stuff with a "new eye", find a new spot or re-purpose an old knick knack etc. etc. You are a very special person. xoxo

Kim ~ We have that same gi-normous red dictionary.
I think my mom got it one piece at a time while shopping each week for groceries when I was little.
What a great memory! And oh so good for playing Scrabble - It has everthing!

Oh, Kim, you always brighten my days too! My mom started college when she was 36. I was in the 7th grade. She taught school for 20 years, 5th grade. Any way she had a two volume "The American College Encyclopedic Dictionary" she used all through college. Have them in a bookcase right here beside my computer. She will be 85 her next birthday and is my hero. Adore your tablecloth and dictionaries too. Love from Okla, Cindy
