Maybe it's time we buy lil Magster a plastic lizard so she feels better about amphibians in general.
: - )
She's so darned CUTE!
Kim, you should blog a video of her trying to catch one, it has to be adorable.

How cute! Pets add so much pleasure to our lives. We don't have lizards here where we live but one stowed away in our moving van when we moved from Florida to Washington State. It was still alive when it got to our home and the neighbors had never seen one before. I was amazed it had gone on the long journey to our tip of the USA and survived. Our neighbors were happy to finally get to see a Florida lizard. :) Maggie looks like a very sweet dog! Have a happy day! xoxo Kim

Maggie, I know you can do it! Not sure what you'll do with the lizard once you catch it... My 13 year old terrier caught a mouse on our lake house screened in porch last summer!! She normally is slow and elderly - my husband and I couldn't believe our eyes when she jumped like lightning and caught the mouse! EWWW! It's in her genes, though, those little dogs!
Posted by: Ann | March 10, 2011 at 08:10 AM
Awwwwwww! Maggie looks so disappointed. Please remind her that the lizards are young and very fast because of their youth!
Hugs!

Maggie represents all of us. Thanks for the words of encouragement! I will get up, dust myself off and contemplate whether a lizard is really worth it or not. It may be time to move on to butterfly's!

Dear Maggie,
Don't ever give up! I never give up. I have not caught any squirrels yet, but a couple of times I caught our neighbor's chicken. My Mama made me let her go. But, I still keep trying to catch squirrels.
Love,
Bentley

PS: I dictated this and my Mama wrote it for me.

I Love this picture of Maggie, she is so adorable! Such a dramatic girl! I enjoy your news about her and Marley so much, keep up the good work! love you Maggie, Marley! and Kim, you too, your site is my fav, LOVE it. Sharon Duffey

Please tell Maggie that we know the lizards enjoy playing with her and it is so sweet of her to pretend to chase them. They probably need the exercise after eating bugs all day. LOL
Posted by: Judie | March 12, 2011 at 01:10 AM
I think Maggie THINKS she wants to catch a lizard, but after she does, the fun of the chase is over. She is torn between the fun of the chase and actually catching one! Besides, she wouldn't really want to hurt one if she caught it. She would just let it go, right?
Posted by: ~B | March 12, 2011 at 09:26 AM
Beautiful Maggie! I want to reach out and give you a great big hug! You are gorgeous. Have to keep that figure up so keep chasing those lizards. You go girl!

Oh, I just love your little Maggie. I'm in Denver visiting my son. Next February he transfers and may go to Tampa! If he does, maybe a friend of ours and I can go visit him and then run over and see you! How fun would that be?
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you.
