I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We certainly did! Fireworks, live music, cheese & crackers, awesome margaritas, and good times with friends and family - a perfect weekend in every way.
Even though it was VERY hot today, we puttered around in our back courtyard and potted a few new plants. Things were looking a little drab so we visited the garden center and brought home some Sunday blooms.
Things are looking happier here now. And that's always a good thing.
And speaking of happy - come back soon because I'll be doing my giveaway when I hope to make one of YOU happy too. ;-)
Love,
Kim

Kim, Your flowers are beautiful, last year we planted some hibiscus and now have a little nest of hummingbirds. Much to the whole families delight, we went out and bought a hummingbird feeder, hoping to never lose them!

All the photos are beautiful, but I especially like the Hibiscus shots...wonderful idea to take a pic from the back, showing the coloful veins and green "petal holder". Glad you had such a lovely 4th!
Oh, and though it would be great to win a gift from Daisy, you make us happy every day, no matter!!

Wait a minute Kim! Back up. What is that yellow chandelier-looking beauty in picture #7?? It looks like it's on a pole. What IS that? It's gorgeous, with all that leafy and flowery detail!
Your flowers look very pretty. I keep going back for more flowers, when I certainly have more than enough! But they keep clearancing them, so it's really not my fault!

Everything looks very happy despite the heat. You were very good to brave it to tidy up and plant some new flowers. I'm waiting for some sales because, after all the rain, my flowers look pathetic.

Very nice Sunday blooms! The vincas spilling out of the hanging pot look very happy; they've always been one of my favorites since I was little and Mom had a patch of them by the front door. Love the hibiscus, too! Summer is for being outdoors, isn't it? I have a hard time being indoors in this wonderful weather, wanting to be out in the garden or walking or riding my bike down to the beach. Being unemployed right now is a temporary gift and I'm enjoying summer while I keep searching.
