Mayfaire
I had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day and I hope that you did too!
I was spoiled with cards, flowers, presents, lunch AND dinner and of course sweet Maggie kisses! ;-)
As we traditionally do, we strolled down our sidewalk to Mayfaire, which is held every Mother's Day weekend....
There were many displays of colorful art.....
And colorful birds also joined in the fun.....
Lots of hot babies were pushed in style......
And very hot doggies were VERY good sports .....
pssst.... this is Maggie's cute cousin - Bo!
There were plenty of pretty places to cool down....
And ladies wore their pretty hats......
Lemonade was available to quench the thirst....
And plenty of fair food was on hand to satisfy appetites....
It was a lovely time - I SO love living downtown. :-)

At the end of the day,
As the sun dipped from the sky
My heart knew ONCE AGAIN,
How very blessed am I.

Such a wonderful way to spend Mother's Day. If you get a chance you might enjoy stopping by my blog to see the my Mother's Day adventure with my dear little mother. ~Adrienne~

Hi Sweetie, Yep, I got lots of kisses, hugs, and girl's day out to the movies with my precious DIL and best friend, Carolyn. Then we enjoyed Peanut Butter Cup pie (I made especially for my DIL as it was also her BD) with our families. It was a wonderful day! How fun it would be to live near your Mother's Day fair. Adore your photos!! xoxo

Hi Kim,
You did have a wonderful day.....what a lovely art show. At least you had good weather. It poured here. We too live downtown our quaint little town and I love to walk by all the storefronts in the summer. Have a wonderful day Kim. Still loving your chairs.

What a wonderful way to spend Mother's Day. I just recently found your blog and I've really been enjoying reading it.
I didn't get a chance to comment yesterday but those floral chairs are fantastic! The funny thing is that I probably would have passed them up at the thrift store thinking they were a little too wild. But they way you've used them, they're perfect!

What a terrific day you had! I envy your wonderfully warm weather. We're (Missouri) stuck in the "one day OK and the next day, cold and windy and rainy mode". Your photos are great---felt like I was right there enjoying it, too!

What beautiful scenery! You are lucky to live downtown. I've always dreamed of living near downtown, with a big front porch where I could greet neighbors as they walked by. But so far that hasn't happened!
