Easy Eggs

Img_8767_medium

Happy Weekend!

I thought I'd make these easy oven eggs for breakfast this morning.  Being the health conscious family that we are - we usually have lots of fresh eggs, butter, sour cream, and shredded cheese on hand which makes whipping these up simple to do!   ;-)

Easy Oven Eggs

8 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

salt & pepper to taste

1 tablespoon melted butter

Beat eggs well and blend in sour cream.  Stir in cheese. Add salt and pepper. Pour into a buttered 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Drizzle melted butter on top. Bake @ 325 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the center is firm.

While you wait on the eggs, have fun making your toast and help yourself to another cup of coffee.....

Soon, your eggs will be done, and your tummy will be satisfied...

Don't they look good? I hope you have a wonderful weekend - I'll be back soon... I've got Georgia on my mind!!!!!

Kim

Hi Kim!! I am back :-)...

Those eggs look yummy!! Oh! I love Savannah.... There is a great little dive of a restaurant on River Street called Bernies, that makes the BEST Rueben sandwiches....

Kim, the boy and the man loves eggs, I'll have to try this. Thanks for the recipe.

Looks delish. I am always looking for good egg recipes. I have 23 hens and they lay like crazy.

OOOOOOOO Those eggs sound sooooooooooo Good and the picture makes me wish I were there...Mary

Kim, the eggs look absolutely delicious.

You gave me a chuckle with this post by referring to your health conscious family. Being the health conscious family that we are, I fixed sausage biscuits this morning. They are a special treat for us, but occasionally we just have to have them.

Have fun in Savannah. I'll be waiting to see the pictures and read of your adventure.

Somehow I stumbled across your blog- and I'm stayin'! Your photos are gorgeous!

Hey Kim,

Yum, I am making these for my college boys who are home this weekend:)
