Clean Corners, Etc.
As some of you guessed when I left a little hint on this post, Daisy Cottage had the honor of being on our neighborhood Historic Home & Garden Tour this past weekend. This special event is what REALLY got me motivated to do my Spring cleaning! ;-) There is nothing like the anticipation of 500 guests coming to your home to bring the Swiffer cloths out of hiding.
The tour day was absolutely WONDERFUL in every way! Everyone was SO nice and friendly! I LOVED meeting each of our guests and I was REALLY excited and happy to meet my local blog readers! Thank you SO much for taking the time to come by and to say hi! You are all just awesome! (((hugs)) AND welcome new blog readers from the tour.. I'm VERY happy you have stopped by here too - and you know that you are always welcome at our home. Thank you also to Mom, Chrissy, Fern, Evon, and Lisa - and ALL of the Home Tour participants... you were and ARE the BEST. Love you all.

Now can you believe this - I got so wrapped up in the day and was busy enjoying every minute of talking to our guests that I didn't take ONE picture of the event??? Not one picture! I DID take a few here and there while I was cleaning in preparation so at least I can share these with you today.....
Poor Maggie had to spend some time on the back porch, but at least she had some pretty flowers to look at, right?
However, when she was inside during the Spring cleaning week, I often found her like this because she was bored and had given up on me sitting down to hold her.....
