I'm a girl on a mission. I want to collect lots of little fabric hearts made by YOU!
I bought this heart from Jill at Bailiwick Designs and it arrived in the MOST adorable way! She wrapped her beautifully handmade heart in black & white polka dotted tissue and yellow curly-cute paper just for Daisy Cottage! AND she generously included some of her fabulous tags! Thank you very much Jill! I just LOVE it and it is the perfect heart for my new collection!
Soooooooooo, my dear crafty friends, pretty please with sugar on top, leave YOUR link here for me on this post so that I may visit you and see the fabric hearts that YOU have created! I would love to fill my white bowl in our living room with handmade hearts from you - seeing as how you are the sweetest SWEETHEARTS in the world!!
xo,
Kim

I ordered a beautiful toile one from Kathy's Cottage! Can't wait to get it!!

Dear KIm,
I love Daisy Cottage. I'm a yellow and red girl too, and I head to your fun blog to find inspiration. I just made some fun felted wool Valentine hearts and they're posted on www.justabedofroses.com blog under the post pocket Valentines and felted cupcakes. I'm in the process of constructing my blog right now but soon I'll feature my designs there. I'll send you something fun and red... Kelly

What a great idea! I don't sew (at all), but if I did, I'd do one just for you. Can't wait to see all the ones you get. You deserve a big bowl of love from your readers 'cause you're a sweet "heart" to us!
Hugs!

It's funny, I've been making up some hearts just to use some of my fabric stash. You want a few, I'll make 'em for you. Obviously, we're a little late for Valentine's Day. But hearts are my favorite shape, and I don't think they are ever really out of season, do you?
My blog is Sortafrugal.blogspot.com--hope you can visit!

Aren't hearts wonderful! My daughter and I have been looking on the shore of our Maine Cottage for years for heart shaped rocks. Once in a while we find them. We even find heart shaped sea glass once in a while.

Oops, sorry, my email thing I wrote so that spammers can't use it didn't work. Just insert the "at" sign where the period is between "scroggin" and "cox." If that doesn't make sense, there is an email link to me on my blog in the right-hand column.
And here I thought I was being so clever--that's what I get.

Hi Kim What a lovely idea! I've seen a few hearts other bloggers have made and a collection of them would be really wonderful. Well it looks like those generous bloggers are at it again, spreading their love around-I noticed on the comments that some of your fans who don't sell hearts are going to make one for you! It never ceases to amaze me how kind and loving bloggers are. You are going to have fun waiting for the mailman to come each day!

I love hearts, too (our wedding anniversary is on Valentines Day-maybe that has a little something to do with it!!!). I made a very humble and small heart from red gingham leftover from a something I sewed for my granddaughter, and decorated with buttons from one of my husband's old shirts!
I really enjoy visiting your blog- thank you for the inspiration and beauty you share.

I love you cottage! I live in my dream home, built in 1892. It is also painted yellow, with white and red trim. Red,gold, yellow, and green are colors I seem to use a lot. I have crazy patch hearts filled with lavender from my garden at my etsy site (www.etsy.d'Jean's.com)
