I really must get out there & look for more of some of those old things. I just haven't had much luck at our thriftstores, the prices aren't as good as yours seem to be.

I love your post of 'becoming a mommy at christmas time'. I had two babies at christmas time...my second child, first daughter was born the day after christmas, December 26...she was named holly noel. Two years later we had another girl on CHRISTMAS DAY! she came a week early, unexpected, and so fast that she was born on the way to the hospital in our truck, delivered by my hubby. She was named grace elisabeth. So very special, both of them.
