'Tis the season for strawberries here in central Florida! And oh are they DELICIOUS this year! Soooooo good on top of angel food cake and covered with real whipped cream OR simply just the way they are! YUM YUM YUM - My favorite fruit, don't mind me while I help myself. I bit of summer to enjoy looking at while it snows outside my window. Thanks for sharing

Save a few for me.
Love~ DH

Oh, how I love fresh strawberries. They won't be ready in B.C. for another two or three months though. I would love to help myself to one of yours! lol!

Truly delicious photo! Just imagine those beauties swimming in whipped cream or drizzled with dark chocolate -- or both! LOL! I love them piled over angel food cake or cheesecake ...... or over hot waffles ......

BTW --- Target's own brand -- Archer Farms -- has a GREAT fast Strawberry Cake mix -- might be tasty with the fresh strawberries (especially if those berries have been in Grand Marnier .... for at least 30 minutes)

Those strawberries look DELICIOUS!!! We are still frozen stiff here in upstate NY, LOL! So they won't be in "season" here for quite awhile! Thanks for sharing!
Kristi

That little blue book is so sweet. That little dash of blue looks good in your home.

Aw, it's strawberry time! Must be close to the Zellwood Festival. No bad freezes this year, so they should have lots of them of us.
Lovely photo dear Kim.

Fresh strawberries with whipped cream oh yummy. Strawberry shortcake is my favorite cake and I request it every year on my birthday. Love the plate too!!!

Hello Kim

Those strawberries are looking good! Especially pretty on the blue and white plate.

Strawberries without embellishment, are delish...but extra good dipped in chocolate!

Pat

Thank you Kim! Delicious, especially with a dollop of cream and a sprinkling of castor sugar! Alas, we have a few months to wait for our strawberry season! Clare x

Thanks for the treat! We are still getting berries from California and even though they cost about $5.88 for a one pound box, I buy them and enjoy! I used to serve them with a dish of brown sugar and a dish of sour cream. First put the berry into the sour cream and then into the brown sugar - Enjoy!

I love your blog, it reminds me of the home I grew up in. By the way, I am a FL girl too, so I will definitely be back :)

I can smell them, I can taste. Love those berries!!

Yum!!!

YES luscious red strawberries!! Come by and see how I serve up these sweet delights! hugs NG

Cannot believe this I have tried all month to post a comment and my last week here in your sunshine state look at that
~I get 2 comments in!~ Know that I have read every one of your posts my dear friend! hugs NG
Come on by my place it's refreshing!!

Challenge.......I bet Oregon berries are better than your berries. :)

We don't get ours until mid June. Oh, they are SO SO good. Can't wait.

Delish! They are ripe here in SoCal too! I've been eating them everyday sliced up with a banana and a little whip cream. My daily treat for early Spring!

My favorite time of the year here in Florida too Kim. Can't get enough strawberries!!! Your photo is a delight and those red strawberries look wonderful against the blue transferware. RJ

Oh, I love strawberries.Really looking forward to summer now ;-} Wonderful photo. You have a lovely blog!

Yummy! I've been getting a lot of strawberries lately and making chocolate-covered strawberries. Ooh-la-la!

oh in my dreams! ok so my name isn't berrie for nothing! I can't wait for season here.. handpicking strawberries by the carton..and going to our spots to pick those delicious wild blackberries and raspberries!

Ummmmmm. My mouth is watering. BTW, I love your photography.

Oh Kim that is such a beautiful photo. The red of the strawberries on that gorgeous blue and white plate is exquisite. Thank you, I will definitely have a taste. When I was a child my aunt and uncle lived in Plant City, FL where they have a huge strawberry festival each year. I spent many happy childhood days picking in sunny fields in that area, and then eating the yummy creations my mother whipped up with them. xoxox

Delicious! We have a bounty of strawberries in the supermarket now... all from Florida!!! (And I admit I love they plate yours are served on, too!)

Hey Miss Kim, I love those strawberries too! Isn't it wnderful to ride down our local roads and see them growing in the fields. We are so lucky to live where we do. I can't wait for U-pick! We take our grandsons and they have a ball! One of the things I admire about you is the ability to appreciate the sweet simple things in life. Have a glorious day. HTH Janet
